  • Device Data: We collect information about your device (e.g., model, OS version, unique identifiers) for security and performance monitoring via Firebase App Check.

  • Location Data: We may collect your approximate location to filter community services, emergency aid, and job/property listings relevant to your area.

  • Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the app, screen views, and feature usage.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide and maintain the PyConnect ecosystem.

  • Orchestrate Emergency Services (connecting donors, ambulances, and hospitals).

  • Facilitate Job and Property matches.

  • Ensure app security and prevent tampering via our custom Security Manager.

  • Send critical service updates and notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

  • Improve user experience through analytics.

 

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following scenarios:

  • Service Providers: We use Firebase (Google) and Supabase for backend infrastructure, authentication, and data synchronization.

  • Community Interaction: Your contact details (if provided for donors/volunteers) will be visible to other users seeking community aid within the app.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our community.

 

4. Data Security

We implement high-level security measures including:

  • Encryption: Sensitive data is encrypted both at rest and in transit.

  • Tamper Detection: Custom protocols to detect and prevent unauthorized access or modification of the application.

  • Firebase App Check: Validates that only legitimate versions of our app can access our backend services.

 

5. User Rights and Data Retention

  • Access & Correction: You can update your profile information within the app settings.

  • Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

  • Retention: We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the services and comply with legal obligations.

PyConnect is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
